The other two qualities are rajas (passion and activity) and tamas (destruction, chaos). Sattva is the quality of goodness, purity, positivity, truth, serenity, balance, peacefulness, and virtuousness that is drawn towards Dharma and jnana (knowledge0. What Is Sound Therapy?

Indigenous societies around the world have traditionally used sound in healing ceremonies, including drumming, digeridoo, wind instruments, rattles, singing, sounds in nature and many more.

Sound therapy refers to therapies in which sound is used to ease physical, mental and emotional conditions. These therapies offer an opportunity for elevating stress, anxiety and muscle tension.

Music is one component of the therapy. Another is the use of sound wave vibrations. In general, this therapy is based on the theory that all of life vibrates, including the human body.

Treatment by sound waves is believed to restore that healthy balance to the body. Healing is done by transmitting gentle healing sounds to bring the body back to homeostasis and ease.

At Sattva Sound Therapy, we offer a sanctuary experience for meditation and rejuvenation. Our expert sound practitioner, Samantha Gallentine, creates a nurturing environment where you can explore the power of sound for holistic healing. Join us on a journey to discover inner balance and wellness at one of the community events.

Samantha also offers private (on-the body) sound therapy, private events and couples sound baths.
