Sattva

Per Wikipedia, Sattva (Sanskrit: meaning goodness) is one of the guna or "modes of existence" (tendencies, qualities, attributes), a philosophical and psychological concept understood by the Samkhya school of Hindu philosophy. The other two qualities are rajas (passion and activity) and tamas (destruction, chaos). Sattva is the quality of goodness, purity, positivity, truth, serenity, balance, peacefulness, and virtuousness that is drawn towards Dharma and jnana (knowledge). The act or a person who bears this is called Sattvik.

Our Mission Statement

We are a sophisticated, professional organization that offers peaceful, calming wellness options for bringing happiness to self and connectedness to others.

What Is Sound Therapy?

Indigenous societies around the world have traditionally used sound in healing ceremonies, including drumming, digeridoo, wind instruments, rattles, singing, sounds in nature and many more.

Sound therapy refers to therapies in which sound is used to ease physical, mental and emotional conditions. These therapies offer an opportunity for elevating stress, anxiety and muscle tension.

Music is one component of the therapy. Another is the use of sound wave vibrations. In general, this therapy is based on the theory that all of life vibrates, including the human body.

Treatment by sound waves is believed to restore that healthy balance to the body. Healing is done by transmitting gentle healing sounds to bring the body back to homeostasis and ease.

At Sattva Sound Therapy, we offer a sanctuary experience for meditation and rejuvenation. Our expert sound practitioner, Samantha Gallentine, creates a nurturing environment where you can explore the power of sound for holistic healing. Join us on a journey to discover inner balance and wellness at one of the community events.

Samantha also offers private (on-the body) sound therapy, private events and couples sound baths.

Sound Vibration Therapist, VSTCLP

200-hour RYT with Yoga Alliance

Certified Hot Stone Restorative Yoga Teacher

Welcome to my sanctuary for restoration, where I empower high-capacity individuals to reconnect with themselves through sound, ritual, and intentional rest.

The clients I work with are caregivers, leaders, and helpers—people who hold a lot for others but rarely have spaces created for their own restoration.

Through individual sound therapy sessions and group sound baths, restorative yoga, and guided nervous system reset experiences, I create intentional environments where people can move out of constant output and into deep restoration.

Examples of Whom I Serve

1. Healthcare Professionals & Caregivers:
Nurses, therapists, hospice workers, and caregivers who spend their days supporting others and need a place to release accumulated stress and emotional weight.

2. Corporate Teams Experiencing Burnout:
Leaders and teams in high-pressure environments who want practical ways to prevent burnout, restore focus, and improve well-being.

3. Those Holding Many Roles:
Parents, entrepreneurs, and community leaders who are constantly giving and rarely receive intentional care and nourishment themselves.

What Matters Deeply to Them

The people drawn to this work typically value:

• Meaningful experiences over surface-level wellness
• Spaces that feel intentional, calm, and thoughtfully designed
• Authenticity and depth rather than trends
• Nervous system regulation and emotional resilience
• Community and shared human connection
• Practices that help them slow down and be present

They are often searching for something simple but profound—a place where they can breathe, settle, and remember what it feels like to feel well.

Why I Am Personally Committed to This Work?

I believe rest and regulation are not luxuries — they are foundational to human well-being.

Many of the people doing the most meaningful work in our communities are also the ones carrying the most stress and responsibility. They rarely have spaces intentionally designed for their restoration.

Through sound, ceremony, and sensory experiences, I create environments where people can step out of constant doing and return to a regulated, grounded state.

When people experience true nervous system reset, something powerful happens:
they return to their lives more present, more resilient, and more connected to themselves and others.

Helping create those moments is the heart of my work.
